Building a Music Player to Scratch My Own Itch

After the offices are reopened, WFH were no more a regular thing. I started to go office daily. But each day, it’s a struggle to get in the flow of productivity in-between the Code Reviews, Production Bug Support, Meetings and all.

I use music to noise-cancel my office environment. But I was not comfortable using Spotify, YouTube Music or Amazon Music in front of my colleagues. I wanted simple musics to boost my focus, but all of them hooked me to use them more.

I downloaded few good musics in my work machines and heard them for a few days. Later, I moved it cloud and listened. Then I got an idea like, what if I can make it as a web player for developers and creatives without any ads.

That’s it, then I had a few sleepless nights to think about making the MVP :)
